This is a baroque gown inspired by Russian fashion. On top is a kokoshnik ([link]) – a traditional russian headdress – I created to got with the gown.
Sewing and photography by me.
It's made from dark green satin with a small rhombus pattern. The trim is a dark brown feather boa. It has got a zipper in the back and black lining fabric as lining. Maybe you now the ubiquitous Burda pattern I used.
Thank you very much. I do love dark and strong colors, yet in favor of black I also use them too little. Black is just so much easier... Especially for gothic clothing, but I want to be more colorful
yes!!! Gothic fashion is so nice with colors! It's usually using pretty black laces and trim, it shows much more on colors than on black. It's so nice when the details are standing out, we also get to see all the workmanship that trimming involve. ^^
